For Forensic Use Only
The EtG Alcohol Urine Test is a rapid, sensitive method to detect the presence of alcohol in urine for up to 80 Hours. This EtG alcohol urine test will detect the presence of the Ethyl Glucuronide metabolite that is present in the urine when alcohol is consumed. The EtG test also provides a longer detection window than saliva or alcohol breath tests.
EtG is a biological marker (metabolite) and the presence of EtG is a definitive indicator that alcohol has been ingested. The EtG alcohol metabolite may be detectable as soon as 2 hours after exposure, and for up to 80 hours past alcohol consumption. EtG tests whether alcohol has been consumed and is most useful in testing individuals who should not be drinking at all.
The threshold for an EtG alcohol test kit is 500 ng/ml. This helps to “weed out” most false positives that may occur from incidental environmental exposure to alcohol based products.BULK PRICING AVAILABLE: PLEASE CALL 614.230.3561
EtG urine alcohol testing used to be only available through laboratory testing. The turnaround time to get results was lengthy and costly. This onsite urine alcohol test kit is optimized to monitor alcohol abstinence. It will provide results in minutes at a fraction of the cost of laboratory based testing. Alcohol is rapidly metabolized and eliminated from the body. Breath (breathalyzers) and saliva alcohol test kit methods can only detect levels of alcohol in the blood for a short period of time. Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG) is an alcohol (ethanol) metabolite that works as a marker, expanding the detection periods up to 80 hours. It does not depend on alcohol levels in the blood and will not show positive results for other types of alcohol like stearyl, acetyl and dodecanol.
Note : EtG tests are for Forensic Use Only and results yielding positive should be sent for laboratory confirmation to determine concentration levels.
